Newsletter - EN: PROTIM productive also during the summer

During the summer architects and engineers of PROTIM Ržišnik Perc were actively involved in beginning and completion of construction of important investment projects for our clients. These projects were planned in the digital building information model BIM, which is crucial in ensuring transparency and optimization of construction projects.

On August 30, 2018, a ground-breaking ceremony took place at the L8 Airport Business Park to celebrate the official construction start of the logistics center CARGO-PARTNER. For this project, we created a modern, technically advanced and sustainably oriented building for the investor. It will cover 51,583 square meters of land and will consist of over 25,000 square meters of warehouse and 4,000 square meters of office gross area. We prepared the tender documentation and carried out the tender action resulting in submission of works. The construction works are already in full swing, whereby we support the investor with the construction supervision and coordination. The investment value is 25 million euros.

In the beginning of September the manufacturing-warehouse-administrative building ORODJARSTVO KNIFIC with a GBA of 2,800 square meters was put to use in Naklo. The new facility includes manufacturing area with modern technological equipment and a warehouse. It represents the new administrative headquarter of the company, which produces high-quality metal tools for injection of polymeric products. In PROTIM, we prepared all the necessary project documentation as well as the interior design solutions for the new building. After organizing the tender action resulting in contractor submission of works, we carried out the supervision of the construction which was successfully completed within eight months.

The leading international manufacturer of insulation materials Knauf Insulation has recently completed the construction of the new educational demo center within its existing manufacturing complex in Škofja Loka. KNAUF INSULATION EXPERIENCE CENTER will be dedicated to present and inform contractors and customers about latest sustainable building concepts, green roof systems and other sustainable building-insulation solutions. In PROTIM, we have prepared all the necessary project documentation for the new center, which represents the first new construction in Slovenia, which will be certified according to the German sustainable construction standard DGNB.
